Trent Copeland and Ben Rohrer were the heroes for NSW in their recent Sheffield Shield clash after a splendid first innings hundred for Redbacks youngster Jake Lehmann. We wrapped all of the action on Bucketts Radio this week.
Victoria continued to assert their dominance in the Sheffield Shield competition with an emphatic victory over South Australia. Scott Boland was a key figure for the Bushrangers claiming 8 wickets for the match including a stunning 5 wicket haul in the first innings.

It was in this game that Chris Hartley wrote his name into the history books claiming his 500th catch in Sheffield Shield cricket. It was also a game where the evergreen James Hopes reminded us that he is still one of the best cricketers going around in the domestic circuit at the moment.
NSW took on WA in the recent round of Sheffield Shield fixtures with the match ending in a draw. There were some quality performances with the willow from Kurtis Patterson and Daniel Hughes for NSW whilst Cameron Bancroft and Marcus Harris posted centuries. The surprise of the game may have been the quality work with the ball from veteran Ben Rohrer who claimed his 5th first class wicket when he dismissed the dangerous Bancroft.
