Roberta Moretti Avery - Brazil Cricket Captain

Roberta Moretti-Avery is one of the most passionate cricket people you will ever meet. She is captain of the Brazil women's team after taking up the game later in life than most.

Maisy Gibson - Special Guest on the Cricket Library Podcast

Maisy Gibson rose to prominence playing an integral role in the success of the Sydney Thunder WBBL team that won the inaugural WBBL competition.

In this edition of the Cricket Library Podcast we get to hear more of the Maisy Gibson story which started in the backyard in Singleton and progressed through the NSW representative pathway and becoming the 1st woman to play 1st Grade in the 120 year history of the Maitland and District Cricket Association when she became player number 327 for the Western Suburbs Plovers.

She would go on to have success with the Sydney Thunder in the WBBL and the highly successful NSW Breakers in the WNCL competition. Maisy shares about this time as well as her move to Tasmania where she is now plying her craft with the Hobart Hurricanes and Tasmanian Roar.

Maisy who has experienced a net with WWE Superstar John Cena gives considerable thought to her three net session selections and her choices will not disappoint.

Daniel Sams - Golden Arm

Daniel Sams had a summer to remember taking a record 30 wickets for the Sydney Thunder in BBL09.

In this edition of the Cricket Library Podcast we will hear about where his cricket journey began, how he broke into 1st Class Cricket, what it meant to wear the Baggy Blue, playing in Canada and his love of the Sydney Thunder.

Will Somerville is one of the nicest blokes in cricket, a trained accountant who went from needing to take annual leave to play cricket to wearing the Baggy Blue for NSW and representing his country in Test Cricket. 

In this edition of the Cricket Library Podcast the off spinner shares insights into the origins of his passion for the game, making his first class debut for Otago & moving to Australia. Will gives us a better understanding of his drive to maintain his training and playing commitments while working as an accountant. We hear just how much it meant to Will to be upgraded to a full contract with NSW and eventually making the move back to NZ and becoming a Test cricketer.

Chris Hartley Interview

Chris Hartley, legend of Queensland Cricket, star of the Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder joins us to share his story on the latest edition of the Cricket Library Podcast.

Erica Kershaw and Katie Mack are part of the Abode Hotels ACT Meteors squad who play in the WNCL Competition. Both players also had a taste of WBBL Finals last year with Katie a part of the Adelaide Strikers team and Erica in the Melbourne Renegades line up.

In this edition of the Cricket Library Podcast we will hear where their passion for cricket began and find out some insights about their cricketing journey so far which has led them both to the ACT. We will also get a better understanding of how they balance work commitments with playing cricket as well as learning more about their interests outside of the game.
